It’s pretty amazing how much better the blade community is getting recently in video production. Everybody is stepping their game up. Paul John is no exception. Recently, Paul John has been working on creating skate edits that focus on style. There is a lot of talk about how contemporary skate videos/edits don’t capture the style of the skaters as well as they did in the mid-90’s. Many people are trying to change this. It is my opinion that PJ is one of the best film makers at capturing people’s style and making blading look good. This is another short edit from one day's skating on September 6th 2009 with the SYEAH Crew at Xalkida Skate Park, Greece. The Day was very chilled as is this clip and to cap it all off we had a Sakis Rouvas concert going on right behind us.
All in all it was a good day. With all the camera problems we had we got very little footage but the session was so chilled that most of us didn't care... a lot of tricks weren't caught on camera since we didn't really have a camera for most of the day.
But the vibe was a good vibe, chilled... Odi even put his headphones on a rolled around just to relax at the end of the day which I haven't seen him do in a wile. Good stuff...
